Hill House is a family run farmhouse which is located on edge of Keadue village a former winner of Ireland’s tidiest town. Situated in the foothills of Arigna mountain Hill House is convenient to Kilronan Castle, Arigna, Carrick on Shannon and Drumshanbo.
Hill House has been in the Kelly Family name for nearly 100 years, in that time the farm has adjusted to the changing world around it. There are many examples around the farm of buildings from the different eras, modern steel sheds sit along side stone byres. Take a trek up the hills surrounding the farmhouse will reveal ruins of famine era dwellings, these tiny homes dot the surrounding landscape. The hill tops provide views across into three counties – to the West Leitrim & Sligo’s hills to the North. Green energy windmills silhouette the Arigna mountain range.
Check in is from 2pm on the day of arrival. Arrangements can be made for an early or late check in.
